Fundamentally, fear arises from a loss of control and a lack of reliable information. Yep, lack of knowledge is not leading us to perish only (Hosea 4:6), but also to being victims of fear when we do not understand and know something!

The devil does not want us to know the prophetic truth about the Word of God in the Bible concerning the future. He just wants us to keep entertaining his thoughts and assumptions that only bad things will come out out of this.

He uses false information to keep us captive. A person who fears what they cannot predict or prevent is not filled with the Holy Spirit, but with the spirit of fear.

So, fear is a spirit that comes from Satan, a demonic spirit, that keeps us afraid and anxious; making sure that we are we do not see the light in the end of the tunnel—that there is no hope despite the word of God says.

On the other hand, the world's narrative often exacerbates this by focusing exclusively on potential calamities—wars, plagues, economic collapses—painting a picture of a world moving toward chaos.

All people hear is death and destruction. This secular perspective fails to acknowledge a sovereign hand guiding all events. For the Christian, fear of the future can manifest when one forgets the scope of God’s authority.

We may intellectually acknowledge that God is in control, yet our emotional reaction suggests a deep-seated belief that circumstances are stronger than His will.

When we look to news headlines as our ultimate source of truth, rather than to the Bible, our peace dissipates. The cure for this spiritual anxiety is a robust and personalized understanding of biblical prophecy about the future. Therefore, prophecy is not merely a timetable of dramatic future events; primarily, it is a testament to the faithfulness of God.

Now is the time for the prophetic truths...

Biblical prophecy serves not to terrify us with cryptic doom, but to settle our hearts with divine certainty. Yes, despite all the lies, heresies, seductions, and false teachings about the future out there that are propelled by the ministers of Satan; the truth will stay the same in Gods word—it never changes or fades away even if falsehood and false teaching abounds, hallelujah!

The Old Testament prophets foretold the coming of the Messiah with remarkable precision centuries before His birth, detailing His birthplace, life, death, and resurrection. This fulfilled prophecy provides irrefutable evidence that what God says will happen, will happen.

The New Testament, particularly in books like Revelation, provides the ultimate assurance that history is heading toward a deliberate, victorious conclusion under the reign of Jesus Christ.

1. The Certainty Of Christ’s Reign

The core truth of prophecy is that Jesus Christ is not only the Savior but the sovereign King who will definitively rule all creation.

This statement is not a possibility; it is a declaration of fact. When we anchor our hope in the unshakeable reality of Christ's eventual, undisputed reign, the temporary threats of earthly powers shrink in significance. Our ultimate citizenship and allegiance belong to a Kingdom that cannot be moved.

2. The Command to Trust, Not Worry

Jesus Himself addressed the issue of future fear, specifically regarding life's basic needs. While His immediate context was daily worry, the principle extends to all future anxiety. He commanded:

This does not encourage irresponsibility, but rather a profound trust in God’s provision. If God knows the future and has already planned the outcome, our role is not to worry about His logistics but to faithfully execute the tasks He has given us today. Prophetic truth affirms that the God who controls the final chapter is perfectly capable of handling the current one.

3. The Promise of a Prepared Place

For the believer, the ultimate prophetic promise is one of permanent security and peace. Jesus assures His followers that the trials of this life are temporary and that our eternal home is already secured.

This promise serves as the grand culmination of all prophecy for the Christian. When facing fear, we do not simply face an unknown end; we face a certain, glorious beginning. This hope neutralizes the sting of earthly suffering and transforms fear of the unknown into anticipation of the known, prepared reality of Heaven.

... Now that we know the truth it is time that we apply (James 1:22—look at the full scripture reference below) it in our lives and overcome the spirits of fear and anxiety—time to overcome the lies and devices (and strongholds, devils devices)—that the devil uses against us to keep us captive.

To overcome fear, one must actively transition from merely knowing prophetic truth to resting in it. And remember doing is better that just knowing.

God loves us that He has made His word of hope to be easy and powerful enough to overcome the devil and his demons of fear, lets keep believing and applying HIs Word: the enemy is powerless against the Truth of God, hallelujah!

Believers tend to forget that the devil will use anything in his power to robe believers of their piece and hope.

And the truth and assurance of the prophetic message, of what will happen in the future, that Lord Jesus expects us to read and understand, take hold of His peace of mind: and no matter how bad things can get in the world in the future; God is in control and He has already won and overcame.

And we will live with Him forever if we continue to be faithful until the end, hallelujah! The fear of the future is a cage, locking away our joy, motivation, and effectiveness in the present. It steals our sleep and clouds our vision.

Yet, the Scriptures provide a beautiful, comprehensive map of history, revealing that all the confusing and frightening elements of the present are merely intermediate scenes in a divine drama whose ending has already been written—a glorious, victorious ending where Christ triumphs and His people are welcomed into everlasting joy.

A person may exchange their fear for peace by fully submitting to the ultimate authority of Christ’s prophetic Word, because He gave us His Word to abide in piece and to not be afraid as He has overcame the world (John 16:33)!.

Do not allow the fleeting, chaotic reports of this world to drown out the eternal, ordered voice of God. Make up your mind that you will listen to God instead of the lies and fears of the devil-ENOUGH IS ENOUGH—FEAR, GO!

The peace that guards our hearts is not based on the absence of trouble, but on the presence of an unwavering God who holds the future in His hands. "And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus," Philippians 4:7.

May your heart rest today in the profound truth that your future, both temporal and eternal, is secure in the finished work and the promised return of your King, Jesus Mighty Name, amen.

"let not your hearts be troubled, Jesus has given you peace," take it and live by it until He returns; because surely HE IS COMING!
