1. Begin Your Day with Intentional Prayer
If you have not being doing this and you call yourself a christian you are joking; this is the habit that they teach boys and girls in Sunday School....
You simply start your day by seeking God in prayer, it sets the spiritual tone for all that follows. It is an act of acknowledging His sovereignty and inviting His presence into every moment.
Before the clamor of the world begins, take time to express gratitude, confess shortcomings, and present your day to Him. This foundational habit recalibrates your spirit and aligns your perspective with His divine will.
"Pray without ceasing" (1 Thessalonians 5:17)
the Holy Scripture encourages a continuous dialogue, and beginning your day with a focused period of prayer lays the groundwork for that ceaseless communion.
Look, this is not some routine whereby you repel temptations, persecution, suffering and many other bad things in our life from happening, as many believe that since they have prayed in the morning all will be well during the whole day. No, it does not work like that, there is no prayer in the world that will force God to do what He does not want!
So, if you have thought that this morning prayer will guarantees a good day, fixes all our problems, randers the Devil powerless, then I am afraid you are mistaken and deceiving yourself, wake up this is real life not some movie! The morning prayer is about gratitude, thanking God for giving you another day to live your life-not some backup-plan, and security-covering that deceives you to think that nothing bad will happen to you!
That mentality does not come from God but from Hell, that wants you to depend on prayer instead of the Living God Almighty: This is real life once again, bad, horrible things, and death happen to even those that pray more than you, in fact to any human being, whether godly or ungodly.
THANK GOD FOR HIS MERCY AND LOVE, when you wake up everyday as your habit!
Furthermore, you must know by now that life gets very difficult and painful sometimes, for example, losing loved once, possessions, and important things in you life just to name a few... Even in those situations, when we wake up YOU STILL PRAY AND THANK GOD FOR HIS MERCY, LOVE, PROTECTION AND GRACE IN YOU LIFE (yes, even when the Devil whispers to you and says, "Why do thank God when you life is a mess?").
Whether life is good or bad, good seasons or bad seasons, in fact it does not matter: WE STILL ALL WAKE UP AND THANK GOD NO MATTER HOW WE MAY FEEL OR THINK-HE IS STILL GOD EVEN WHEN YOU HAVE LOST YOUR LOVED ONCES, GIVE HIM THE PRAISE AND WORSHIP HE SOLELY DESERVES EVERY MORNING IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME!
2. Immerse Yourself in Holy Scripture, The Bible
Many Christians are guilty of lying that they read their Bibles including their beloved pastors! Christians today do not care about reading the Bible anymore, THEY HATE IT WITH GREAT PASSION, THEY CONSIDER IT A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME!
It is high time that the Body of Christ stop treating God's Word like a newspaper or novel, and start seeing it as the Sacred and Holy Scriptures. Our lives depend on it,
"A man does not live by bread alone but by every word that comes from the mouth God."
In the olden days in the land of Israel only the priest, scribes, religious lawyers, and Pharisees for an example; where the only one's that where allowed to carry and read the Holy Scriptures. Ordinary people where not allowed, because they considered them holy and sacred, and very important!
But today, anyone can get a copy of all the 66 Books in the Bible physically such as a hardcover, or digitally such as a phone application and so on.... But the problem is that believers now see the Bible as useless and a burden. Look inside the Churches today, nobody wants to buy his own bible and read it when the man of God is ministering and preaching.
They rely on the big screens to read on. So the question is, "If they are relying on screens of the church building to read scriptures, so, where do they read the bible when they are at their homes? How come they say they are reading their Bibles when they do not even have a copy of it? Even those one's that say they have the Bible apps, when you check their phones or devices, you will discover that the Bible apps have not been used since the day they were downloaded from Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
...Bunch of liers and rebellious wicked children, THEY DO NOT HAVE A BIBLE LET ALONE READING ONE! They are like chef's without knives to cook, warriors without weapons to fight, and like angels that have long lost their glory a long time ago just the angels of Satan!
Daily engagement with the Bible is not merely a religious duty; it is vital nourishment for your soul. God speaks to us through His Word, revealing His character, His promises, and His instructions for righteous living. Do not just read; meditate on the verses, allowing them to penetrate your heart and mind. Even a short passage studied thoughtfully can have a profound impact.
"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path" (Psalm 119:105, KJV) beautifully illustrates the guiding power of Scripture.
So, there you have it, take your Bible study serious and do not be like this modern-day Pharisees that the Lord Jesus Christ said that they will never escape the damnation of Hell!
will never escape the damnation of Hell!Stay away from them and grow in the knowledge and grace of God. It might not be daily but strive to make reading Gods words as the food that ou souls need to survive just like your physical body, may the Lord Help you Amen!
3. Practice Mindful Gratitude
If really depend on the mercy of God you and understand that you just need to be grateful and thankful to God Almighty because you know that everything and your life depend 100%!
Cultivating a heart of gratitude shifts your focus from what is lacking to what has been abundantly provided. Take moments throughout your day to consciously give thanks for big blessings and small mercies alike. This practice not only enhances your mood but also fosters a deeper appreciation for God’s constant goodness.
"In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you" (1 Thessalonians 5:18, KJV).
Here is a tip of what it means to thank God for everything including the one's that you have over looked: for example, in wealthy countries water is not a scarcity and a problem so they tend to think it as a minor blessing, because it is always there, available. So the tip is to do a fast according to the way that you think that you can handle it, its up to you.
Do dry-fasting, where you drink no water and no food: that is when you start to relies the importance of having a gratitude heart.
For now you might think that you are thankful and grateful, but you will discover that you were just playing... THAT IS WHEN YOUR EYES WILL BE OPENED AND START TO SEE THAT EVEN A HALF-FILLED GLASS OF WATER IS A GREAT BLESSING, WHEN YOU ENTER DRY FASTING-YOU WILL THANK GOD FROM REAL EXPERIENCE AND REALIZE FULLY THAT YOUR LIFE HAS BEEN HANGING ON THE GRACE OF GOD!
Try this tip and you will learn about this habit than what is written here or anywhere else, when you go through the dry-fasting (do not be hard on yourself, do a dry-fasting that you can handle first, then you can build up from there).
4. Engage in Acts of Service
Holiness is not only an inward experience but also an outward expression of love. Look for opportunities, both great and small, to serve those around you. This could be helping a neighbor, offering a kind word, or volunteering your time.
Serving others reflects the heart of Christ and helps you embody His selfless love.
"For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many" (Mark 10:45, KJV).
It is time to do service in the Church and wherever we go, so that the ungodly may see our good works! The Lord has served from the beginning of his ministry even until the last day; He showed us that we should labour and work with our hands and strength.
The Body of Christ will grow exponentially if we all played our part... So, go ahead and play you part, and go an extra mile because it is much more needed than you think!
5. Practice Self-Control and Discipline
This one is gowing to be a bit hard, becuase we live in a would where people are desperately wicked and love that works and deeds of the Devil, their father.
Remember what happen to Prophet Moses, the friend of God and the most meek person in his generation; the children of Israel turned a meek-humble servant of God into a furious man that made a mistake that costed him his life, he was not allowed to go to the Promised Land. All because people will push you to the extremes, and in worst case scenario they can turn you into a monster when you where a sweet kind person!
So self-control and discipline ie very very important, because sometimes do things that are stupid and they are many things that can really offend you that you might find yourself in jail, your job or career lost, people dead and etc. Even if you did not start it, if you lack self-control ou are in trouble. One word coming out of our mouth can get many lives in danger!
Holiness requires discipline, particularly in managing your thoughts, words, and actions. This involves making conscious choices that align with God's standards rather than succumbing to impulses or worldly pressures.
Whether it is managing your time, moderating your consumption, or taming your tongue, self-control is a powerful tool for spiritual growth.
"But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway" (1 Corinthians 9:27, KJV).
If you grow this habit very well it will become a mighty tool that can avoid a lot of unnecessary things that you could have went through if ou has not this habit. So, check yourself and deal with the evil-thought tendencies, learning how to shut you mouth, avoiding and running away from things that will lead you to doing things that you will regret the rest of your life; and many others you need to literally slay and kill before you get doomed!
6. Seek Forgiveness and Offer Forgiveness
Forgiveness is one of the major problem that requires time, books and counselling for the Body of Christ: it is a deep wound that needs ministers that have real experience, because the Devil really knows that once christians really forgive others God will have mercy on them!
The topic of forgiveness and unforgiveness is a very serious one (it requires series of articles and books just to scratch the surface): for instance people are not healed, women do not receive the fruit of the womb, women and children have nightmares and deep psychological problems and so on all in the name of forgiveness...
This subject is very hard. Pastor and preachers are doing whatever they can to avoid this topic or they would just summarize it and move on to other topics. People need serious help when it comes to this issue, the damage is too much, especially for the women and children who are abused worldwide!
Only by God's grace we can one pull through.
People really want to forgive others and let go, but they seem to fail; they even also realize that it is very hard for them to teach themselves to forgive others. It is way much easier to ask for forgiveness than to forgive others.
So now, instead of having one problem called forgiveness, now it has grown out of proportion; the problem has also out grown from the borders of the christian Church, that, it is now visible everywhere: believes are now even angry against God and do not want to forgive God. Yep, you heard that right, christians DO NOT WANT TO FORGIVE GOD, the One Who tells them to forgive!
We have noW the officeS, departments, section, problem or groups (no matter what you want call them); of Forgiveness, that is: Forgiveness, Unforgiveness, and Pretending/Acting to Forgive.
What was supposed to be one problem, only forgiveness, has now three heads: those that ask for forgiveness; those that do not want to forgive; and lastly those that pretend or act like they have forgiven when deep down in their hearts they have not forgiven!
It is heart breaking that the Holy Scriptures are clear and understandable, but believers are continuing in this sin.
Daily growth in holiness necessitates acknowledging your mistakes and seeking God's forgiveness, and just as importantly, extending forgiveness to those who have wronged you. Holding onto bitterness or resentment hinders your spiritual progress.
Embrace the freedom that comes from a clean slate and a forgiving heart.
"And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you" (Ephesians 4:32, KJV).
This habit is going to take a long time for many to get through, IT IS A BIG PROBLEM THAT REQUIRES MORE GOD'S WORD, SUPPORT AND GRACE OF GOD TO FULL COME TO THE FULL FREEDOM THAT GOD HAS DESTINED FOR US ALL! They are lying to people that they can just deal with it just like that, no they are lying.
Being a servant of God myself I can tell you that this one is not that simple, BUT I ENCOURAGE YOU TO FIGHT DAILY UNTIL GOD GIVES YOU THE POWER TO SLAY THIS THREE HEADED DRAGON THAT WANTS TO DESTROY YOUR LIFE-IT IS ALL POSSIBLE THROUGH THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, AMEN!
7. Cultivate a Spirit of Humility
Humble christians are the one's that are mature, adults. As for the youth they just have no time to be humble. Humility is not weakness or foolishness and some think, no, is a sign of maturity that a christians knows that he/she is nothing without God.
Many think that the are humble when they live their lives in delicacies, but when trouble comes they want to contest with God.... they fail to recognize that all your abilities and achievements come from God.
Humility is about acknowledging your dependence on Him and placing others before yourself. This does not mean thinking less of yourself, but thinking of yourself less. A humble heart is receptive to God's grace and guidance.
"But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble" (James 4:6, KJV).
Remember that the opposite of humility is pride, and pride comes from the heart that thinks that needs God or other people. As you reach that point you are in trouble. Many billion and million dollar companies have went bankrupt because in the company they thought they were invincible and untouchable.
What about King Nebuchadnezzar of the Book of Daniel? Lets go to Old Testament and look at King Saul, what happened to him and his sons? ... of course they all died, neither did their wealth, empire and army could save them! So , beloved, flee pride and cling to humility, because you life is short to do the mistakes of King Nebuchadnezzar and King Saul!
8. Guard Your Thoughts and What You Consume
Your mind is the control center of your whole body, so it is very vital what you allow in your control center...
Your mind is a battlefield, and your thoughts directly influence your spiritual state and decisions in your life. One of the things that the Devil attacks and manipulates is the thoughts of men to do his bidding. If he can persuade a single influential person then others will just follow.
This is why and how cults and demonic sects of christianity are formed; where they lead mankind to the pit of Hell with the same Bible that we are all reading. Thank God, that He has told us the way to change our life is to transform our minds, where our thoughts live and thrive!
You should be intentional about what you allow into your mind through media, conversations, and entertainment. Well...media and entertainment have really cause more harm than good: the youth and young children are brainwashed from the day they fall in love with cartoons and animation. The Devil and his demons are control the media and entertainment like nobodies business!
All the bad habits, wicked trends, what is popular comes from the media. Furthermore, now celebrities are worshipped, and turned into idols that people will literally die for. So, choose inputs that uplift, inspire, and align with biblical principles.
One of the mani reason why we read the Holy Scriptures is that we want to be more like Christ and to grow and increase in grace... That is why the Holy Ghost made sure that He inspires the whole Bible because He knew that the Word is the foundation: it is able to correct, reproof, instruction, and make any believer to mature and become perfect (1 Timothy 3:16-17)
"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things" (Philippians 4:8, KJV).
Therefore, learn daily to guard your thoughts and what you consume or spend a lot of time consume, it will definitely change your life, hallelujah!
9. Engage in Meaningful Fellowship
THe same way that you should be careful about your thoughts and what you consume is the same way you should be careful with your company or the people that you fellowship, or rather even with the people that you hang out with. Cults and synagogues of Satan grow and flourish while the Church fellowship of Jesus Christ declines in numbers.
People are so much ignorant that they will just believe anything that they hear or see, just because they see it happening in the Church, or is done by the man of God. They think that the Devil will not enter their fellowship or their church.
They do not even botha themselves to even try to verify, double, ask questions, or to check whether it aligns with the Word of God or not, the just follow like blind sheep (how shameful the way we just believe like immature believers)! It is very vital that you engage in meaningful fellowship.
But not only that, also those that are fruitful; that is, growing, edifying and spreading the Word of God through evangelism and outreaches and so on....
Connecting with other believers provides encouragement, accountability, and shared spiritual growth. Do not isolate yourself; actively participate in a community of faith where you can share your journey, learn from others, and be strengthened in your walk.
"Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching" (Hebrews 10:25, KJV).
10. Reflect on Your Day and Repent Where Necessary
Finally, to our last habit of the day: which is to reflect and adjust, of course where necessary, because sometimes we just fix things that are still doing good. Remember the goal is not to reboot your system. No! It is to build on top of it with this powerful habits that will take you to next level in holy living.
So here is how you should go about about this last daily habit: before you conclude your day, take a few moments to review how you have lived. Consider your interactions, your words, and your attitudes.
It is like rinsing after washing...if you have fallen short, confess it to God and ask for His strength to do better tomorrow. This habit of daily self-examination and repentance keeps your conscience clear and your spirit aligned with God.
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9, KJV).
...This is one of the things that the top Billionaires are secretly doing (don't tell anyone it's a secret, shhh!); It will also boost your self-esteem and you confidence, and the drive and momentum to move on and grow further, glory be unto to God!
